Sciorr are a six piece Irish dancing group from Sheffield.. Separately they have been performing since they were five or six, but they have been dancing together as a group since 2003. |

They have appeared at
many festivals around the UK including Sidmouth, Warwick and
Cheltenham, as
well as performing at international festivals in Poland and at the World
Folkloriada in Hungary. |

FESTIVAL APPEARANCES

| With a new name - Sciorr
- their first truly independent performance was at Holmfirth Festival
in May 2003. This was followed in September the same year by a well received appearances at Otley Folk Festival. A further appearance at Otley in 2004 included an ecstatically received spot at the Saturday night ceilidh.
In 2005 the girls appearances included Wath and Cleethorpes festivals. 2006 saw them at Cheltenham, Sidmouth and Whitby. In 2009 a return to Cheltenham is to be followed by another appearance at Whitby. |
